In November 2023 my Fiancé and I  welcomed to the world our wee girl  Charlie.

Luckily for me she has a doting father who is happy to care for her during wedding bookings. But in order to prioritise family time, I will no longer be taking wedding bookings for Waiheke Island or venues more than an hour's drive from my home.

(BTW - Be wary of any "wedding awards" any vendor may claim to have won. They are, in my opinion, meaningless. Most are simply a moneymaking exercise for the organisers who request payment for all nominations and actually canvas all wedding vendors encouraging them to nominate themselves, they then choose winners without ever seeing the vendor's work, then sell high priced tickets to the event too! Needless to say I have always declined taking part).
